Fondé en 1996 à Montréal, le Studio XX est un centre d’artistes féministe bilingue engagé dans l’exploration, la création, la diffusion et la réflexion critique en art technologique. Le Studio XX vise à mettre de l'avant la multiplicité des territoires, des voix et des actions créatives des femmes dans les paysages technologiques contemporains à travers le monde. Il participe activement au développement d’une démocratie numérique qui encourage l’autonomie et la collaboration. Le Studio XX soutient la production indépendante en arts médiatiques à travers les résidences d’artistes, les coproductions et projets spéciaux, la revue électronique .dpi, l'émission de radio XX Files, les salons Femmes br@nchées, le festival HTMlles, les commandes d’œuvres, les ateliers de formation professionnelle et l'accès à son laboratoire de logiciels libres (Open Source). En 2008, le Studio lançait Matricules : l’une des plus grandes archives en ligne au monde d'art numérique créé par les femmes.

Founded in 1996, Montreal-based Studio XX is a bilingual feminist artist-run centre for technological exploration, creation and critique. Studio XX’s mandate focuses on enabling the creative actions and perspectives of women at the forefront of contemporary technological landscapes and the development of a digital democracy that values autonomy and collaboration. Studio XX supports the creation and dissemination of independent media art through its Wired Women Salons, commissions, co-productions, its online electronic journal .dpi, artist residencies, the weekly XX Files radio show, the HTMlles Festival, through professional development workshops and anytime access to its Open Source Lab. In 2008, Studio XX launched Matricules: one of the world’s largest online archives of women’s digital artworks.

To post a message to all the list members, send email to annonces@lists.studioxx.org.

You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.

Subscribing to Annonces

Subscribe to Annonces by filling out the following form.

    You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator.
